Why I don't live in New York.
I love the NYC, and I've long thought of moving there.
Then I go on Craigslist.
This apartment is way the hell out in Bushwick. I won't tell you the price. But what I really loved was this picture, captioned with the headline:

Yeah, thats why I just moved out of NYC. Living in Bed Sty is even incredibly expensive now and despite what people might say Bed Sty still sucks. High rents, shitty space, and a poor job market (for middle and lower class people at least) are changing New York. Its always been hard but now its reached another level I think.
A lot of artists and creative people are leaving because its gotten so out of hand, so NYC is getting less cool and interesting every day. Its pretty much just a city for the super rich now. So don't worry, you are really not missing much anymore by not living there.
Hmmmm....I wonder where they'll place the new 36" Viking range?? ;)
